Winery Review: "Brilliant straw color with emerald reflections. Fresh and floral bouquet with a hint of pears, apricots and bananas. Fresh and inviting with bright fruit and an easy drinking style with a pleasing hint of almonds in the aftertaste. Pairs well with seafood dishes, risottos with scampi, spaghetti with clams, sole in white wine Perfect also as an aperitif." Vintage Cellar wine notes
My Review: My first tasting back from break and I think I'm starting to pick up on this whole tasting thing. Without looking at the tasting notes, I wrote down floral, grassy nose with a pear/apricot mid pallet , nice and tart with a smooth, light finish. Pairs up pretty well with what the "pros" had written, who said write critiquing was tough? We must just have similar tastes but I would definitely like to try this wine with some summery, picnic foods in a couple weeks when things warm up. Great acidity and balance with a pale yellow hue.
I sampled the wine without food.
